Please join us for a small and intimate wedding ceremony at the beautiful Taft Reserve South. As the place where we had our very first date, Taft Reserve holds a significant and cherished meaning for both of us.

Our Story

  • Middle School Connection

    2009

    We first met in middle school. The universe found an interesting way to put us together. We often were the last two kids in the pick up line.

  • Reuniting in College

    2017

    On Mother's Day 2017, we unexpectedly met again at a Sorority Noise show, where Alex saved me from a mosh pit and we held hands for the first time.

  • First Date

    May 16th, 2017

    Following the show, we went on our first date on May 16th, 2017, hiking at Taft Reserve South. Little did we know this would later be the site of our wedding.

  • Dating Years

    2017 and on

    Officially becoming a couple on June 15th, 2017, we shared significant moments, including moving in together, getting our first pup, graduating college, buying our first home, and facing both a lot of joy and heartache together.

  • Engagement

    December 29th, 2022

    Alex proposed at Camp Forever Cabin near Athens, OH, on December 29th, 2022, marking a turning point in our relationship.

  • Wedding

    October 14th, 2023

    The culmination of our love story will be on October 14th, 2023, as we exchange vows at Taft Reserve South, where our journey together began.
